- Kelly ho ying Leung Added April 27, 2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Bad customer service (Emporium store). I know I might look like I could speak Mandarin fluently, but I cant! I ordered my food in English and the staff replied me in Mandarin. She even asked me to repeat my orders in her language. I can understand Mandarin doesnt mean I am able to speak!! I replied her with the code of the dish in Mandarin at the end but she still gave me a supercilious look. Srsly, is there a problem with not able to answer in Mandarin? It's Melbourne here! WTH?!
- Maryam Fatima Added March 05, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★I've been here 5 or 6 times and this place is quickly becoming my go-to place for Asian food. Probably because it has great tasting food that is consistently reliable and the place itself is nicer looking than most places serving cheap Asian food. The Dumplings and buns are always so good and some of their other food is also to die for! Servers are always super nice and accommodating. This one time we asked to have our table changed because it was too close to the bathroom and they helped us change it twice (other one had a wobbly table which we didn't mind but they insisted).
Best food besides the Dumplings is their Schezuan fried rice, honey chicken, their sweet and sour soup and the spicy peanut chicken (something like that). I also like their fried beef and the beef noodle dish on a sizzling plate.
Their lychee lemonade is also amazing!
What I love about it is that it is super reliable in terms of quality of food. They have good portion sizes. You get your value for money and we always leave here happy and stuffed and not feeling light in the wallet.
Ask to be seated upstairs if you really want to enjoy the place. And it's always super busy but we have never had to wait longer than a couple of minutes.
