- Chuck Kolyvas Added March 28, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Cheap and fun. The $35 banquet is good value. Thai food is not THE best but it's plenty spicy and some faithful flavours going on. The cocktail menu is more fun than serious. Their little bar next door is also cheap and cheerful.

We wanted somewhere that was going to make the experience relaxing and easy and honestly, the Mess Hall - and particularly Luke Shann - could not have been better.
Our wedding was the first out of the most recent lockdown, so we met with Luke just after we re-opened and a couple of weeks before the date and he made everything a breeze and so much fun!
The food, the house wine and the beer were all GREAT. The venue was beautiful (we didn't have to do a thing) and the vibe was like one giant party.
All of the staff were amazing on the night, and Luke was there keeping an eye on everything (and topping up our glasses!).

Luke made everything so easy in the planning of our wedding and his team made sure they took care of us and all of our guests on the day. Beautiful venue: tick. Amazing food: tick. Bar staff wanting everyone to have a good time: tick. If it didn't require a divorce, I'd get married here again!
