I made it aware that I was very tired and jet lagged and not slept in around 3 days due to a long flight, I told him I just wanted something that would help me contact my family back home and let them know I'm safe. He assured me he knew just what I needed, talked me through a contract which sounded great but he forgot to mention I was stuck on this contract for 12 months, the next day I realised and went straight to the store to try and cancel it but was told if I want to cancel I have to pay for the entire 12 months upfront in one go. Absolutely ridiculous I have tried several times since to cancel it but nothing. Never will I go with Optus again because of this,
