  Had dinner here on Saturday and it was great quality! Wasn't very busy but with food like this it should be. Meal sizes are generous and steaks were all perfectly cooked. Only fault we had was the table was too small for three of us. Other than that a perfect night and will definitely be back

  Quaint Tavern tucked away in the CBD. Friendly service. Food however lets this place down, unless your tastebuds are dulled. Tamarind ribs weren't tasty and burned ($20 for 2 ribs!). Fries and sauce servings aren't generous. Steak was correctly cooked yet burned. Should have stuck with Squires Loft.

  The setting is lovely, the ribs were excellent, the sides and deserts were tasty. However, for a place that sells itself as a steak house the main offering was very disappointing. The steak was over chared and tasted burnt - for $60 I expected a lot more. The lamb cutlets were also pretty underwhelming - oily, very small for the price with disappointing sides. I've visited this place a few times over the past 10 years and each time the quality seems to drop a bit further.
