  Summary: Tired apartment hotel
  Positives: Central Location (though a lot of hotels in Melbourne are central)
  Space - large enough rooms (I got a two bed room apartment)
  Everything works - except for the AC/heating and the blinds
  WiFi: Worked well with reasonable speeds
  Negatives: Price - even at corporate rates this is an expensive 4 star hotel. For what you get it is overpriced
  Noise: Rooms facing the road, and at low level have a lot of traffic noise
  Privacy: The blinds are basically see through so everyone on the street can see everything you do especially in the evening.
  AC/heating: Broken and the hotel notes that the fix is going to take a long time. A small noisy plug in fan heater is NOT what you expect for a 4 star hotel in Melbourne in winter
  Tatty: Carpets and torn and stained, blinds bent and broken, counter tops chipped
  Not the cleanest: Some places especially in the bathroom where there was building type dust in the corners.
  TV: Some of the channels didn't work due to poor reception.
  
  Re summary: This may have been once a nice apartment hotel but has been allowed to run down to the point of tired moving quickly towards tatty. Given all the choices in Melbourne for this price there are better options.

  Filthy, disgusting. Didn't get the room I paid for. Dirty condoms in the room. They promised I could return for free next time and never honoured this promise. Magically they have record of my complaints but not their offer of returning for free. Didn't offer any kind of refund. When discussing with the manager he agreed to let us stay another time for free to make it up to us but magically when you call, the manager is always on leave and no other staff can tell you when he will be back. And cannot see this note on file. A bunch of rats. I would avoid this place as much as possible. A complete rip off.

  from start to finish the experience was horrible. Not what we paid for, no heating in the middle of winter. moved twice. TV didn't work...... Upon leaving, Condom wrappers were found under the beds where my children were sleeping...........story goes on and on.......... "I'm sorry we'll give you a free night "yeah, yeah......... I go to somehow surrender that Ok, it may be a one off. Not the case, rude front receptionist. Won't honour the offer of a free stay even though online they have available rooms. Apparently the manager is overseas......... Who's managing it then ? Never again ! If I could give a zero I would have. As dodgy as they come.

  Good location
  Well overdue for renovation
  Bath drain full of hair resulting in rising water which washed the grime off the side of the bath which pooled in the corner.
  Room was smelly
  TV remote not working
  Nowhere near the standard of other Quest properties i have stayed at.
  Not worth the money they are asking

  Honest no frills hotel with quite a good location to the theatre and Chinatown. Not the most glamorous bar or restaurant, but you really aren't without other options just minutes walk away. No rooftop pool or other mod cons, but decent value.
